Mudcructh fue la primera banda de Tom Petty y en 2007 volvió a reunirla para un disco aclamado por la crítica pero que pasó sin pena ni gloria en las listas de venta. Ahora vuelve a hacerlo con un segundo disco, que destacamos en nuestra sección de Música, y una gira por algunas ciudades estadounidenses. En el fondo, Mudcrutch tiene mucho de Petty y Heartbreakers, su clásica y potentísima formación de acompañamiento. Y, también en el fondo, Mudcructh, que fracasaron en los sesenta como grupo, es una buena excusa para disfrutar del Petty más gamberro sin perder su ADN de melodías radiantes. Ante el rumor de que Petty volverá a girar por Europa en los próximos meses, urge ya mismo activar un Change.org pidiendo firmas para que Mudcrucht vengan de gira por España de una vez. Sería la primera visita de Petty en su vida (y las nuestras) a nuestro país. Y eso, viendo como está el patio, es más importante que formar Gobierno.

Fechas confirmadas de la gira 40 aniversario por USA desde mediados de abril a finales de julio, lo cual lo aleja del Azkena 2017.
