la mala sangre se diluye, y no estan los tiempos para rencores que a lo unico que que llevan, es a que cualquier día uno de ellos desaparece, y no han hecho nada productivo durante mucho tiempo, Si los musicos escucharan mas a los fans, mejor les iría a muchos de ellos. Los malditos egos han llevado erroneamente las trayectorias de muchos, que vean lo que hicieron en sus mejores tiempos, y que lo comparen con la actualidad.

Fin y Pete andaban en los tribunales o casi, por el nombre de la banda.

Ya sabéis, Fin intentó montar una "reunión" de Waysted con Ronnie Kayfield, el guitarrista en Vices - sin contar con Pete.

Y a la vez Fin y Tonka acabaron peor que mal tras la grabación - fallida por parte de Tonka - del disco de retorno de Waysted, Back From The Dead.

Y entiendo (esto ya es suposición mía) que Chapman estará mosqueado con Pete por tomar partido con Fin en esos tiempos.

El caso es que Pete podría montar Waysted con quien le diese la gana - entiendo que es el propietario del nombre, y otra cosa sería un fraude. Aunque bueno, en el último disco en estudio de Waysted Pete realmente no toca el bajo

Pero eso, Pete con tres tíos ES Waysted, le guste o disguste a quien sea.

Sería grande que fuese con Fin y Chapman, efectivamente, pero ... no lo veo, sinceramente.

Esa foto es de los shows de The Plot, banda con Pete, Michael a la guitarra y Jeff Martin a la batería. Además del disco que editaron, tocaron como teloneros en una gira USA de Michael.

Las últimas noticias de Pete son que en diciembre estaba ensayando con una banda de cara a salir de gira a presentar su álbum.

Hi Dan! Some good questions there. Regarding Michael Schenker we hit it off from day one. We always had a good relationship and we brought the best out in each other. We had an almost telepathic thing going on - we read each other. There was nothing difficult about working with Michael for me. It was a pleasure and we had a laugh while we worked. Regarding supporting some bigger bands, such as Rush - at that time we had an album in the Top 30 (Lights Out) in the US and it was the best thing we ever did. Rush fans were curious about us and, yes, we did get a very good reaction. Rush had no problem with it. Their fans loved them but enjoyed our performance too. Their music was more intricate than ours - they had discovered the band Yes and Geddy was particularly fond of their music. We leant in a different direction - harder and louder and, of course, we had our German secret weapon!!! We loved each other and playing with them was a joy. Everyone had a good night out not only the fans. We became very good friends and still are to this day. We just made the headliners work harder but we never had any animosity from them. We also learnt so much from playing with real class acts. Jethro Tull were possibly one of hardest bands to support. Their supports never had an encore which we did achieve on most occasions. And by playing with bigger bands won us many fans. So I would say there is absolutely nothing wrong with working with a bigger band. You have to be 100% confident though - you can't allow yourself to be intimidated. You have to walk on stage and perform like a punch on the nose. After that tour we had AC/DC, Judas Priest, Cheap Trick, Van Halen, Iron Maiden and many others support US. Aerosmith were a hard act to support- their fans would pay to see them just stand on stage and whistle Dixie - they hardly had to pick up an instrument. But, again, no animosity with us and Steven Tyler would stand on the side of the stage every night and watch our performance which I took as a compliment. In amongst this Michael was poached by Aerosmith when there was the inevitable bust up with Steven and Joe Perry. Michael's stint was short lived, however, during rehearsals in NY Michael made the mistake of suggesting to Steven to "..get off your high horse"! Needless to say he was on the next plane home!!!! Lol Pete xxx

Creo que Let It Rain va a ser un éxito, es una canción muy querida por los fans.

es que es un temazo, MECHANIX es discazo...., los tiempos con MICHAEL fueron grandes, pero con CHAPMAN también... que buenos son UFO.

el numero de bandas y musicos marcados por UFO es extenso, y luego algunos tuvieron mucho mas exito que ellos, pero UFO en directo y en estudio son una banda inmensa, que como siempre he dicho, no tenía que envidiar nada a nadie, y que estaba a la altura de la banda que querais, ya sea ZEPPELIN, HALEN, AC-DC, AEROSMITH o ALLMAN... como digo, imbatibles...

Clavaito Gregg, Diamond Head tambien es una banda a tenwr en cuenta ...
