El de Mojave 3 lo tengo es buenísimo!!!..

sé que me he dejado algo...buen año, tal vez no hayan 30 discazos pero con los que hay (elliott smith, at the drive-in, sunny day real estate, yo la tengo, lambchop...) creo que ya hay suficiente para considerala una buena añada (y superior a los tres años precedentes)

sé que me he dejado algo...buen año, tal vez no hayan 30 discazos pero con los que hay (elliott smith, at the drive-in, sunny day real estate, yo la tengo, lambchop...) creo que ya hay suficiente para considerala una buena añada (y superior a los tres años precedentes)

Con este disco tuve algunos problemas desde el principio. Había algunos temas que sí y otros que no tanto. Olía cosas muy grandes de todas formas. La semana pasada me llegaron éste y el Slippage, que todavía no he escuchado. Por un dólar cada uno.
Vivo en este disco desde hace unos días, cuando no es Josephine es Lumberlung o That Is All. Han conseguido algo que Drive By Truckers jamás han hecho, emocionarme.

En cuanto a Slippage... en cuanto salgas de Everything... VAS A FLIPAR. Eso sí, dale el tiempo que precise. La producción es jodidilla. Pero "Springfield", "Sister Beams", "Back", "Butchers", ¡"Find the out"!, ¡"Live on in the dark"!

A mí DBT tampoco me emocionan en exceso salvo en Decoration Day... es la voz de Hood, aguda y destartalada, que no me llega. Qué se le va a hacer. Aunque me parecen cojonudos. Pero Slobberbone me llegan más, qué leche.

En cuanto a Everything, a mí me gustan todos como a Morientes y a Gerard. Sentimentalmente te diría que mi favorita es la última, esa cosa extraordinaria llamada "Pinball Song".

Pero claro, "Lumberlung" y "Meltdown" y "Josephine" son una jodida brutalidad.

Los temas cañeros son la hostia. Tributo a los Replacements en la segunda canción. La instrumentación country. La caña punk pero con cabeza. Los guitarrones. El solo final y los aéreos esos tan simples y tan entrañables de "Gimme back my dog". Yo qué sé, socio, uno de mis discos favoritos de la historia, así, sin más.
