Dear Love fue uno de los momentos más intensos que he vivido en directo. Esta canción es más que mi favorita de SD, forma parte de mi juventud en el amplio sentido de la palabra.

Mike Ness says Social Distortion to begin recording new music
Mike Ness of Social Distortion says that Social Distortion will record a new album (or more) in 2023. In an interview with the OC Register, Ness says the band was working on pre-production before the pandemic. Now that things have opened back up again, the band will finish writing those songs (some have already debuted live). The band plans to go into the studio in 2023 with 40-50 songs written. Ness says after this upcoming album is finished, the band might head back into the studio about a year after to make a second new album after that. Notably, the band has said they are wokring in a new album for about five years. The band's last studio LP was Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes in 2011.

Espero que saque disco de una puñetera vez y que sea generoso. Espero q si tienen 40 o 50 canciones grabadas no saquen un EP de 5 canciones. Ojalá saquen todo el material que tienen.

Se está ganando a pulso el título del tio más vago del rock. Lleva años dando la cantinela con que quiere grabar dos discos (uno de ellos en solitario), que si tiene canciones para aburrir... y luego nada.

Eso mismo pensé yo cuando tocaron en el Azkena. Es cierto que siempre ha estado en un segundo plano por detrás de Ness, pero se le veía un tanto apagadillo.

Teóricamente ya han empezado a grabar el nuevo disco. No sé si estará Johnny en las sesiones.

También es verdad que la ropa que lleva no ayuda. Ni el formato acústico. Igual he sido un poco duro y le acaba quedando guay, pero ver de repente ese vídeo ha sido un shock.
