Mark Lanegan: Has God Seen My Shadow? An Anthology 1989-2011 (2014)

After more than a year of speculation, Mark Lanegan has officially announced details regarding his upcoming anthology set, “Has God Seen My Shadow? An Anthology 1989-2011.” The anthology set will be released on January 14, 2014 by Light in The Attic Records.
According to UNCUT Magazine, the set will include twenty notable tracks from Lanegan’s lengthy solo career as well as twelve previously unreleased tracks. It will be released on two formats: a 2-disc CD format including a 44-page booklet with handwritten lyrics and rare photos, and a 3-LP format including box set case and a 20-page booklet.
The tracklist, which was discovered by AlternativeNation.net in July, includes songs ranging from Lanegan’s 1990 album The Winding Sheet to Lanegan’s recent more studio effort, 2012′s Blues Funeral. The tracklist for “Has God Seen My Shadow? An Anthology 1989-2011” is below:

Venía a comentar precisamente esto y google me ha traído hasta aquí. Parece ser que lo publican en enero.

Como recopilatorio no está ni bien ni mal. Cada uno echará en falta algunos temas (no easy action, wedding dress, hit the city...) o no le guste que casi se pase por el forro el Scraps at Midnight. Igual le falta algo más de variedad.

Era un disco menor cuando yo lo descubrí hace muchos años, a la vez que Whiskey y Scraps, pero ahora mismo me parece mejor que sus últimos lanzamientos.

En este nuevo se lo tenian que haber currado un poco mas con el segundo CD, no son malas canciones, pero 35 minutos??? vale la pena pagar 12 pavos por esto?
