Ese triple cd es acojonante, brillante. El primer set es para cagarse, larger than life suena atronadora y el trio final, para celebrar el año 2000, está sólo al alcance de los Mule: 21st century Sscizoid man, We're not gonna take it y Dazed and Confused (Crimson, The Who y Zeppelin). Y luego versionar a Alice Cooper ya es la leche.
Muy, muy recomendable.

New Archival Album 'The Tel-Star Sessions' Out August 5th

Gov't Mule will release a new archival album entitled The Tel-Star Sessions on August 5, 2016 via Evil Teen Records. The LP consists of the band’s very first, and never-before-released, demos made in June 1994 at Tel-Star Studios in Bradenton, Florida. These newly mixed and mastered recordings feature the original line-up – Warren Haynes, Allen Woody and Matt Abts – and capture the rawness and excitement of the earliest days of Gov’t Mule.

Consequence of Sound has premiered the first track from the album, the band’s version of ZZ Top's "Just Got Paid". The song will be available as an instant grat track with the Mule.net pre-order bundle available now and the album pre-order available on Friday, May 13th on iTunes and Amazon.

What was originally intended to be the band’s debut album, but then subsequently shelved until now, these 10 songs will be available digitally and as a single CD, as well as 180-gram double-vinyl set including limited edition artwork and white vinyl.

Parece que fue hace cuatro días que comencé a escuchar a la Mula, con esos dos F-A-B-U-L-O-S-O-S primeros álbumes. Luego cambiarían, por circunstancias propias (tercero) y luego obligadas (el resto), y nunca sería lo mismo. Pero durante un tiempo el blues rock sólo tenía un dueño, y ese era Gov't Mule.

Este Tel-Star Sessions es una grabación apabullante, y realmente distinta a sus dos primeros discos, con lo que aporta de verdad y no se queda en mera anécdota.
