Ya lo creo que es un disco enorme. Esto es cosa de fan pero desde hace la pila de años en que lo descubrí, lo considero realmente su primer disco. Impagable le edición del 98 " Skynyrd's First : The complete muscle shoals album" es decir el First and Last completado con el resto de temas que no se incluyeron en su día. En total 17 temas que saben a Gloria bendita. Entre las sorpresas el estupendo "You run around" con las guitarras echando chispas y cantada por el Sr. Ricky Medlocke a la mayor gloria del SouthernRock cheers

A la gente en facebook se le va mucho. Yo digo siempre que estoy fascinado por la relación empresa-cliente en esto de los festivales, y que no pasa con ningún otro negocio. Como dije en su momento a nadie se le ocurre entrar al Facebook de Carrefour o de Media Markt a cuestionar el surtido, el precio o yo qué sé. Y mucho menos con esas formas.

Resulta que hacer un concurso a modo de promoción es "deshonesto". Vaya tela.

Totalmente. No creo que LTI gane dinero con este concurso, más bien lo contrario. Me hace gracia el pesimismo de este año, yo creo que la asistencia va a ser parecida a la de los últimos años.

En el Azkena, nos podemos olvidar de Gimme / Whiskey / Needle. Por lo demás, tal cual, no lo están variando en absoluto.

That Smell es mi prinicipal motivación, creo que será el tema que mas disfrute junto con Simple Man.

El gran fallo: la ausencia de Swamp Music o Curtis Loew. Imperdonable.

Les doy vía libre ( faltaria más) para que toquen lo que quieran, de hecho preferiria que le dieran cancha a algunas canciones del "Gods & guns" aunque tiene 2 o 3 añitos ya

No estoy yo tan seguro de eso.
En el último concierto que vi de ellos fuera de USA, en Sao Paulo en noviembre, que anda colgado por Youtube, sí tocaban alguna de esas.

Reseñar que me ha sorprendido muy agradablmente este disco.
No sabía que trataba sobre los Lynyrd.
Descubrí este doble CD por obra y gracia del libro DISCOS CONCEPTUALES, que recomiendo enfervorecidamente.

A raiz de tu comentario me he puesto a pensar cuántos de los grupos que aparecen en este tema habían pasado o van a pasar por el Azkena y me salen unos cuantos, incluyendo a los propios DBT Very Happy

Han pasdo casi 20 horas desde el bolo de ayer y todavía sigo flotando. Mi 2ª experiencia con los Dioses sureños y tan intensa ó más que la del 97 en Barna. Apoteosico, Emocionante y decenas de adjetivos similares. 1 hora 10 minutos de ensueño, el paraíso en las campas de Mendizabala. Musicazos tremendos al servicio de una colección de canciones inmortales. Workin, I ain't the One, Skynyrd Nation, Whats your name, Down south jukin casi de tirón e interpretadas de manera tan intensa como solo los grandes pueden hacerlo. Con That Smell brotaron las primeras lagrimones, ESPECTACULAR y con los guitarristas bordando un tema que debería ser capitulo aparte de demostración Genial de como deben sonar tres guitarristas solistas en una misma canción., Increíble. Para rematarnos en esta línea de emotividad siguen con SIMPLE MAN, que se puede decir ya a estas alturas de esta cancion, me tiembla todo solo de recordarlo. Vuelve el rockNroll con Gimme three steps y un Call me the breeze brutal. Todos sabemos que original de jj cale pero totalmente adueñada por los sureños. IMPRESIONANTE una vez más. Es la hora de los himnos, Sweet home alabama, miles de veces escuchada pero sigue siendo imposible no sentirte atrapado por esos acordes y estribillo mágicos............ Llegó el climax, la canción de canciones, el himno por antonomasia FREE BIRD. Hay qque estar ahí para comprender lo que significa semejante maravilla de la naturaleza ...................... los lynyrd me han devuelto a un estado de animo en el que la palabra que mejor lo define es HAPPY, soy feliz por haber tenido una vez más el privilegio de volver a estar con ellos. Gary, Johnny, Ricky y al resto de componentes TRILLONES DE GRACIAS INFINITAS por mantener viva la llama de una de las más brillantes bandas que han existido

Envidia sana que os tengo, me alegro por ti que se que es una de tus bandas de toda la vida, espero poder verles alguna vez, muchos kilometros los que tenía que hacer y encima las bandas que me interesaban las repartieron en los tres días, si hubieran tocado BOC, Statuo Quo, Ozzy el mismo día que lynyrd quizás hubiera hecho un esfuerzo para ir, otro año será.
